Teachers of the Law, so wise and true
Bringing hope and joy, to all they knew
Their compassion deep, for living beings’ sake
Choosing to be born, in a world that’s bleak

The Lotus Sutra, their message to spread
A teaching so rare, a treasure indeed
Hard to believe, and understand too
But protection from Buddhas, it’s promise is true

A place where the Sutra is read, or kept
A pagoda is built, for the Buddha’s essence wept
For those who embrace, it’s teachings divine
Are very near, to Buddhahood they’ll shine

With gentleness, compassion, and emptiness in mind
The Lotus Sutra, they’ll teach to all they find
Preaching to masses, or sharing a phrase
The Teachers of Law, our respect they’ll always raise

So let us embrace, the teachings so grand
The Lotus Sutra, in our hearts it will stand
For a path to enlightenment, it is the way
Teachers of Law, they show us the way.
