The Rise of the Treasure Tower

Treasure Tower soaring high above,
A voice is heard with praise so true,
For Shakyamuni’s teachings bright,
The Lotus Sutra’s guiding light.

Bodhisattva asks with curious mind,
The reason for this tower to find,
The Buddha speaks of Abundant Treasures,
His vow to praise the Sutra measures.

With light from between his brows,
Shakyamuni calls his holy vows,
All the emanated Buddhas come,
To view the pagoda, a brilliant sum.

Abundant Treasures seated with grace,
Invites Shakyamuni to share his space,
The attendees lifted up with might,
To view the Buddha’s body of light.

The Buddha speaks of parinirvana,
And the Sutra’s perpetuity, a wanna,
Urges those with strength and heart,
To make a vow, and do their part.

Poetic stanzas tell the tale,
Of the Treasure Pagoda, a powerful trail,
A great vow’s the key, it’s true,
For spreading the Sutra, bright and new.

In Chapter 11, a message shines,
To spread the Lotus Sutra, a divine line,
With a great vow, success is found,
And the teachings, forever resound.
