Embracing the Law with Love and Care

The Lotus Sutra chapter 13, a guide so true,
Encouragement to Embrace the Law, for me and you.
It highlights the power of a great vow,
To spread its teachings, no matter what obstacles may show.

Bodhisattvas vow to spread its word,
With perseverance, not to be deterred.
In the future, two nuns will become Buddhas,
Their lifetimes long, the power of the Lotus Sutra.

Shakyamuni Buddha remains silent, no command,
But bodhisattvas still vow to spread it, hand in hand.
Greed and conceit, they are aware,
But they will endure, with love and care.

A great vow is crucial, it’s plain to see,
An expression of will and determination, victory.
Avoid conceited monks, the Buddha has said,
Practice the teachings, Supreme Perfection ahead.

So in conclusion, let us take this vow,
To spread the teachings, and make them known, now.
Let us avoid greed and conceit with care,
And follow the path of the Lotus Sutra, with love and prayer.
