When all living beings, honest and true,
Wish to meet the Buddha, and follow through,
Even at the cost of sacrificing their lives,
A community of monks and the Buddha arrives.
They gather at Eagle Peak, so high,
To declare a truth that will never die,
“I have always been here,” the Buddha will say,
“Without entering parinirvana, I am here to stay.”
A declaration of eternal life and love,
A reassurance from the Buddha above,
Guiding all beings towards enlightenment’s door,
A promise of compassion, forevermore.
Their hearts filled with joy and light,
Their faith, unshakeable and bright,
The Buddha’s presence, eternal and strong,
A beacon of hope, forever long.
So if you wish to meet the Buddha one day,
Just be faithful and true, every step of the way,
For at Eagle Peak, he waits for you,
With teachings that are steadfast and true.
