Amidst the lack of wisdom’s sight,
We grew unknowing, unaware of light.
A modicum of nirvana, we sought to gain,
Unwilling to seek more, content with the pain.

The Buddha’s words now bring to us,

“This is not the true nirvana,” he does say,
Only Buddha-wisdom leads to its full display.
