Reflections on Breaking Down Barriers

In a world divided by unseen walls,

I, as a poet, answer destiny’s calls.

To dismantle barriers, within and without,

And foster a world where inclusivity devout.

Society constructs walls of fear and prejudice,

Dividing hearts, undermining what’s just and bliss.

Yet with words as my weapon, I embark,

To shatter walls, bring light to the dark.

I start by questioning biases within,

Unraveling threads that limit and chagrin.

With an open heart, I listen and learn,

Seeking understanding, bridges to discern.

In conversations, I create sacred space,

Where differences are embraced, with grace.

Through dialogue, voices find their place,

Empathy blooms, binding us in embrace.

I challenge norms, the stagnant quo,

Unmask assumptions, letting prejudices go.

For barriers are not meant to remain,

But to be dismantled, compassion’s reign.

I seek to comprehend the unknown,

Walk in others’ shoes, empathy sown.

For when we connect, beyond our divide,

Unity thrives, common ground does abide.

Let every word be a force to break,

Empower the weak, for their sake.

Inclusivity the foundation we lay,

Celebrating diversity every day.

Together, we build bridges that span,

Promoting understanding, hand in hand.

Breaking barriers, united we stand,

Creating a world we all understand.
