THESIS: We treat confusion as failure. If you were really wise, you would understand.
LOTUS LOGIC: Sāriputra, the wisest disciple in the assembly, hears the One Vehicle and his first response is bewilderment. He says so, out loud, more than once. The Buddha does not scold him. The confusion is the doorway: the old framework has to break before the bigger one can enter.
🌷 Confusion is not the opposite of wisdom. It is wisdom, outgrowing its last container.
🌷 The moment “I don’t get it” arrives is the moment the teaching starts working.
ACTION: The next time something genuinely confuses you, resist patching it over with a quick opinion. Sit in the not-knowing for one full day.
